If you are a Mac Administrator or Developer then you will have one event pencilled into your diary every February and that is the Amsys organised Macintosh Administrators and Developers Conference.

This year I had the great pleasure of supporting and recording all the sessions of this internationally renowned event held over two days at the end of February in the amazing location of Leicester Square in Central London.

Twenty-five amazing presentations from a host of international stars of the Mac World were captures in glorious HD. With two parallel streams on separate floors, elevator not working of course, really added to the number of steps that myself and my team of videographers racked up those days.

Thursday, September 14th 2017 to Saturday, September 16th, 2017 saw Leeds host a joint UK EGG and ISGEDR Meeting with almost 200 international Ophthalmology Clinicians and Researchers absorbing over 30 presentations from worldwide colleagues.

I had the pleasure of recording many of the presentations in the comfortable and well appointed venue, Leeds Beckett University's Rose Bowl, smack in the heart of this wonderful Yorkshire City.

The Keynote Lecture was giving by the legendary Professor Andrew Reed from the University of Manchester who gave a wonderful presentation "Overview of the Human Genome".

The term 'Centre of Excellence' is used variably by healthcare organisations and authorities to identify healthcare centres that have an exceptionally high reputation for research and clinical management of patients with haematological malignancies.

9th Breast Pathology Update Course
November 2016 - QEH Birmingham

The British Neuro-Oncology Society (BNOS) has its origins in The British Glioma Group (conceived in 1980 as a forum for basic scientists) which became in 1989 The British Neuro Oncology Group, in order to recognise the inclusion of tumours other than glioma, and then The British Neuro-Oncology Society in 2004.

We have recorded the BNOS Conferences in Leeds 2016 and Edinburgh 2017 with recordings expanding from simply Plenary Sessions to the whole of the Scientific Programme totalling 32 videos over three days.

The London Dermatopathology Symposium is acknowledged as one of the world's foremost Dermatopathology events. Now in its 7th year with an amazing faculty crammed with world-class speakers.

We have been recording and supporting this event for three years, with every year increasing the scope and sophistication of our support with virtual pathology introduced this year and live streaming planned for next year.

The final EyeTN final conference was held at the Genopolys in June 2016, Montpellier, France.  

This two day conference which brought together world leaders in the field of inherited blindness in the historic city of Montpellier on the French Mediterranean coast.

Dr Ganesan Baranidharan (Barani)

Barani is one of the UK if not the World's top Back Pain specialists, based at Seacroft Hospital in Leeds he has treated thousands of patients with chronic back pain.

We recorded a series of Back Pain Operations at Wharfedale Hospital in preparation for Barani's annual Back Pain Workshop. In this we captured not only the operation but also the medical imaging systems output so that delegates at the workshop could follow on Xray the placement of electrodes in the spines of patients, an AMAZING experience.

New York Dermatopathology Review Course
Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, NY, USA

We have been supporting this annual course for two years now plus its older brother, which was based in Miami, Florida, for three years now.

Together with Dr Raj Singh and his amazing PathPresenter system we now not only manage and record in glorious HD but stream all sessions live to the world with all continents represented save Antarctica.

The UK's premier FRCPath Residential Training Course with both Part 1 and Part 2 streams. A real 'must' for trainee Pathologists.

Twice every year 60-80 trainee pathologists attend these courses in preparation for their live as Pathologists. We record all the sessions which then allows the trainees to revisit the intense presentations at their leisure.

These workshops are sponsored by Medtronic Neurovascular and will be provided free of charge

The workshops comprise a half a day of didactic lectures then a light lunch followed by an advanced imaging workshop and interactive discussion.
The aim is to provide education and training for doctors on stroke patient referral and acute stroke imaging including CT angiograms. 

We have been supporting these workshops for a number of years with all AV equipment and a library of MacBook Pro notebooks preloaded with Osirix medical imaging software and a range of anonymised cases comprising MRI and CT scan files. Currently these workshops have been held in Leeds, Preston and Stafford.

Covidien develops and markets a massive range of medical solutions including stents for use in 'Interventional Radiology'.

As part of this development, we took our medical imagery capture systems plus handheld and jib mounted cameras to capture an intensive day of capturing testing of a prototype device on an aneurysm simulator (tank of goo with a range of 3D printed arteries) this media allowed teams located all over the world to forensically review the surgeon's use and experience with the prototype devices.
